I have been filtering my water for years. You will not find a better pitcher at any price. I use 3 of these pitchers daily. The water is better than any I have ever tasted (that includes spring water.

    We have, pitchers, bottles, straws.
And my family can tell the difference in taste and our over all health. I did a PH check on our water from faucet before running thru the pitcher and the PH was a 5.24. After running thru pitcher i checked PH again and it was 7.5. I love water and would buy water bottles and after listening to Carl Palmer…i take my Seychelle water with me.
    Thank you!!!

I LOVE this product!! It’s very scary to think of everything that is toxic in our water sources. Found out that prescription drugs were a major source found in our water. Do not want my family/friends exposed to this. Only thing I wish they would change is the lid opening. Seems to be fragile and doesn’t open fully to allow water to freely pour.

I’m trying to decide what to order. I like the idea of the PH20 water pitcher, but also like the RAD pitcher. Apparently the PH20 water filter does not remove the contaminants that the RAD pitcher does? Do some people use the RAD pitcher and then the pH20 pitcher?

rjsuderno,

Yes, you could pour water from one of the pitchers to the other one.

Thank you,
We appreciate your business.

I might prefer this smaller sized pitcher, compared to the King pH2O pitcher (which uses 2-filters), but this smaller pitcher doesn’t raise pH2O. As you don’t sell smaller sized pH2O pitchers currently (January 2018), if I bought King pH2O replacement filters, could one of those pH2O filters be used in this RAD pitcher?

Jose,

No, the pH filter will not work inside the RAD Pitcher.

Thank you

So the pitchers are not for home use if you have a well anymore? Any suggestions on what pitchers to use in your home if you have a well & not city water.. I thought that was kind of the whole idea with the Seychelle products which is why I purchased several of them several years ago. But I wanted one for my daughter (kids) and they are also on a well. Don’t want to hand them out per the statement about not using on private wells. Should I even be using them on a homestead with a private well?

The RAD pitcher is not recommended for well water as it does not remove bacteria and viruses. Well water can often times contain bacteria such as E-coli.

It is recommended that you use a filtration (ie. Seychelle’s Extreme or Supreme Filtration) or water purification treatment (ie. chlorine, boiling, etc.) that removes bacteria and viruses before putting your water through the RAD Pitcher.

Is there a filter you suggest to filter river water to get the germs out first, then use the rad pitchers? It says to only use chlorinated water. I prefer your filters instead ….if that would work.
Thanks

The Extreme Survival Water Bottles or the Dual Filtration Water Pump will filter out bacteria and viruses. We recommend using either of these products when filter water of unknown quality such as freshwater sources.

Clarification: I am assuming that the EXTREME filter filters out contaminates AND RAD also, but RAD filter alone does not filter out contaminates. Correct?

The RAD Filter removes up to 99.99% of the following:

  • Aesthetics – offensive tastes, odors, chlorine, silt, sand, and sediment.
  • Chemicals – industrial VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), PBCs, THMs (Trihalomethanes), detergents; Agricultural SOCs (Synthetic Organic Compounds), pesticides, DDT, etc.
  • Dissolved Solids – harmful heavy metals such as Aluminum, Arsenic, Asbestos, Cadmium, Chromium 6, Fluorides, Copper, Lead, Mercury, etc.
  • Radiologicals – Gross Beta, Alpha Radium 226, Plutonium, Uranium, Radon 222, Cesium 134 and 137.

It does not remove bacteria and viruses. This is the main difference between the Extreme Filter and the RAD Filter.

I bought a seychelle pitcher 5 years ago but never opened the box. I put it in my closet and forgot about it. I got it out today and wanted to know if it is still ok to use.

Yes, you’re filter should still work properly. Be sure to flush the filter using the included faucet attachment before use.

Does this RAD Pitcher filter out the same contaminates as the Extreme filter Bottles? Or less?

Member

No, the Extreme filter bottles are actually a combination between the advanced and RAD filters. The main difference is that the RAD filter does not remove bacteria and viruses as the Extreme filter does.
